The 14th Annual IBM Uptown Classic will be held October 6, 2013. We are still one of the fastest and best routes in Austin. The race begins at the IBM Austin campus and meanders through the Domain shopping center.
We are the first race in the Austin Fit Magazine Distance Challenge. The Distance Challenge is a series of Austin area races that lead up to the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon in February 2014. The goal is for participants to run all 6 races in the series. In 2012, we had a fast and competitive field with 11 runners finishing in under 32 minutes!
Congrats to our weekly raffle winners!

This year the race will benefit the Austin Parks Foundation (APF). APF is a non-profit organization devoted to building public/private partnerships to develop and maintain parks, trails, and open space in Austin and Travis County. Since 1992, Austin Parks Foundation has initiated, promoted, and facilitated physical improvements, new programming, and greater community involvement for Austin’s 19,000+ acres of parkland. Each year, APF generates millions of dollars in volunteer time, in-kind donations, and financial support for city parks.
