Every registered runner and walker in the IBM Uptown Classic 10K will have the opportunity to get an official time. Each participant will be assigned a ChampionChip based on their bib number. CHIPS are non-transferable and must be worn only by the participant to whom it was assigned.

Please pickup your CHIP and zip-tie the morning of the race at the "CHIP Station" located in the registration area beginning at 6:30 a.m.

In the event that you are unable to return the CHIP at the finish line, please mail it to:

A $30 fee will be charged to the runner if the CHIP is lost or not returned.

Distance Challenge Runners must own your own CHIP. DC CHIPs are currently on back order.  If you don't already have your CHIP you can use a generic CHIP at the IBM Uptown Classic and the information will be complied with the rest of your Distance Challenge Race results.
