The IBM Uptown Classic 10K is the first race of the 2008 Austin Distance Challenge. To participate in the Austin Distance Challenge you must register and complete all 6 events in the series:

1. IBM Uptown Classic 10K – Oct. 19, 2008
2. Run for the Water 10 Miler – Nov. 9, 2008
3. Decker Challenge Half Marathon – Dec. 7, 2008
4. RunTex On the Square 20 Miler – Jan. 11, 2009
5. 3M Half Marathon – Jan. 25, 2009
6. Austin Marathon – Feb. 15, 2009

Cash Award

A $1,000.00 cash award will be presented to the Man and/or Woman finishing first overall who breaks the official Austin City 10K record.
